Software Engineer

We are seeking a Software Engineer to join a Global Automotive company in Raymond, OH support the development of next-generation automotive infotainment systems, with a focus on head unit software.This role will contribute to building scalable platforms across multiple future vehicle models, aligned with C.A.S.E. (Connected, Autonomous, Shared, Electrification) initiatives and a strong focus on quality.Key ResponsibilitiesSoftware Development & TestingSupport development and integration of infotainment software (Java, C, C++, Android)Perform hands-on system and vehicle-level testing across multiple configurationsAnalyze test results and identify root causes of issuesSupplier & Project CoordinationCollaborate with software integration partners to support development progressTrack deliverables, timelines, and development milestonesCommunicate status updates across cross-functional teamsRequirements & DocumentationDevelop and maintain system requirements and specificationsCreate clear technical documentation, reports, and presentationsInnovation & StrategySupport research on emerging infotainment technologies and featuresContribute ideas to improve system performance, features, and development processesRequired Skillset1–3+ years of experience in software development, or equivalent academic/project experienceBS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer EngineeringExperience or strong interest in software development (Java, C, C++, Android)Strong communication and organizational skillsProficiency with MS Office and collaboration tools (Confluence, SharePoint)Ability to manage timelines and prioritize tasks independentlyValid Ohio driver’s licensePreferred Skillset Experience with infotainment systems (Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Voice Recognition)Familiarity with C.A.S.E. concepts and automotive developmentExperience with electrical testing tools (oscilloscope, multimeter, etc.)Exposure to global/cross-cultural team environments
