Software Engineer

A successful technology leader that develops, manufactures, and markets sophisticated Electronic Warfare (EW) systems for the defense and homeland security industries.The company specializes in high-impact solutions, including counter-IED systems, anti-drone communication jamming, and advanced cellular intelligence platforms.With a dedicated team of over a hundred professionals, they provide mission-critical tools used to protect lives and secure environments.The offices are located in Tel Aviv near the train station.The Role-Protocol & RF Analysis: Join a specialized R&D team focused on Cellular protocol analysis, RF measurements, and the development of LTE/5G systems.Core Development: Perform hands-on development using C, C++, Python, and Bash within a Linux environment to build communication intelligence tools.System Optimization: Analyze signaling flows, protocol stack behavior, and network performance, including handover, throughput, and latency.Testing & Automation: Utilize advanced cellular test equipment and simulators while writing automation scripts to streamline lab and production processes.Network Troubleshooting: Solve complex networking challenges involving TCP/IP, routing, and packet troubleshooting using modern Linux diagnostic tools.Requirements-3+ years of experience working with cellular communication protocolsDeep knowledge of LTE/5G protocols, signaling flows, and protocol stack behaviorProven experience in RF analysis, including registration, mobility, and packet capturesHands-on experience with cellular test equipment, protocol analyzers, or base-station simulatorsStrong proficiency in development using C, C++, and PythonExperience in scripting and automation with Python and Bash in a Linux environmentProficiency with Linux networking tools (Wireshark, tcpdump, iptables, etc.)Solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/UDP, routing, sockets)
