NEVO is focused on making logistics cleaner, more transparent, and easier to manage for enterprise customers in India.Role Description This Software Engineer internship is a hybrid role based in Gurugram, with flexibility for some work from home. The intern will help design, develop, and maintain backend services and tools that support NEVO’s electric logistics platform, collaborating with Founder's Office. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing clean and efficient code, implementing and testing APIs, troubleshooting issues, and contributing to performance and reliability improvements. The role also involves participating in code reviews, documenting technical work, and learning best practices in software engineering within a fast-paced, technology-led logistics environment.QualificationsStrong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and fundamentals of operating systems and databases.Hands-on experience or academic exposure to Software Development and Programming in at least one modern language (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, or Go).Knowledge of Back-End Web Development concepts such as RESTful APIs, microservices, and server-side frameworks.Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and ability to apply them in real-world projects.Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.Ability to analyze problems, learn quickly, and communicate clearly with cross-functional teams.Interest in logistics, sustainability, and EV-based solutions; prior internship or project experience in related domains is a plus.
