Team members collaborate on cutting-edge products that enable organizations to move faster and make data-informed decisions in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.Role Description This full-time remote Software Engineer role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable software solutions that power APTWatch’s AI-driven platforms and enterprise applications. The Software Engineer collaborates with product managers, designers, and other engineers to translate requirements into robust back-end services and APIs. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing clean, testable code, implementing object-oriented designs, performing code reviews, and troubleshooting production issues. The role also includes integrating AI and automation components, optimizing performance and reliability, and contributing to secure and maintainable architectures. The Software Engineer is expected to participate in agile ceremonies, continuously improve development practices, and stay current with emerging technologies relevant to intelligent software and cybersecurity.Qualifications Solid foundation in Computer Science principles, including data structures, algorithms, and software design.Proficiency in Software Development and Programming, with experience in at least one modern language (e.g., Python, Java, C#, or similar).Hands-on experience with Back-End Web Development, building APIs, microservices, and working with databases.Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and reusable, modular code design.Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is beneficial.Familiarity with AI-driven systems, automation frameworks, or cybersecurity concepts is a plus.Ability to work effectively in a remote, collaborative environment and communicate clearly with cross-functional teams.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
