It's still in the phase where a mid-level engineer can ship meaningful work quickly and grow with the platform.What you'll work onYou'll join a product engineering team building and running backend services in production. Your work will include:Designing, building and shipping backend services, mainly in GoBuilding event-driven services on messaging platforms such as KafkaImproving performance, reliability and observability across live systemsTaking part in code reviews, design discussions and technical planningDebugging production issues and fixing them at the rootWorking closely with product and senior engineers to deliver features end to endWhat they're looking for3–5 years' professional software engineering experienceStrong backend skills in Go, or in Rust or Java with an interest in moving to GoHands-on experience building distributed systemsExperience with messaging or streaming tools such as Kafka, Google Pub/Sub or RabbitMQExperience building and supporting production systemsWhat's on offerSalary up to £100,000Annual bonusEquity in a pre-IPO businessRemote-first, with just two days a month in LondonA clear path to Senior Engineer as the team scalesIf you're ready for a role where your code goes live quickly and handles real volume, get in touch for a confidential chat.
