About the Role

We are looking for a Software Engineer who takes features from problem to production. You may be specialized in frontend, mobile or backend, but you are comfortable working across the stack. For smaller, less complex features you deliver front to back yourself; for complex work, you partner with or hand over to the relevant specialist. You blend product thinking with engineering craft: you understand the investor we are building for, work closely with Product and Design early on to make sure ideas hold up technically, and then build them.You are AI-native. AI tools and agents are part of how you explore, design, build, test and ship every day, and you apply sound judgement to what they produce. You do not wait for a fully specified ticket. When details are missing, you go and find the answers: in the code, the data, the exchange and regulatory rules, or by asking the right person, and you come back with a recommendation, not just a question.Key ResponsibilitiesFeature Ownership: Own the delivery of features from build through release and post-launch performance, across UI, API and data. You are accountable for the outcome, not just the code.Early Product and Design Collaboration: Work closely with Product and Design during discovery and scoping, without owning it. Pressure-test ideas and concepts, anticipate technical challenges and constraints early, and suggest simpler alternatives so we can adjust and save time before build starts. Contribute to acceptance criteria and success metrics.Cross-Stack Delivery: Bring real depth in your specialism (frontend, mobile or backend) and work across the rest of the stack where needed. Deliver smaller features front to back on your own, across our iOS, Android and web apps and the APIs and data behind them. For complex features, collaborate with or hand over to the relevant expert while staying close to the outcome.Self-Directed Problem Solving: Resolve ambiguity independently. Investigate, read code and documentation, query data and test assumptions to settle the details of a feature, including market, order and regulatory edge cases.AI-Native Engineering: Use AI assistants and agents as your default way of working: to understand unfamiliar code, investigate problems, prototype, build, test, debug and document. Review AI-generated output critically and own its quality.Quality and Reliability: Write automated tests, instrument your features with logging and monitoring, and own the health of what you ship in production.Security and Compliance: Apply secure development practices, protect client data and build with regulatory requirements (SCA, DFM, ADX) in mind.Raising the Bar: Share effective AI workflows and patterns with the team, document decisions and contribute through thoughtful code review.What Success Looks LikeFeatures ship end to end with minimal hand-offs and clear impact on client experience or business metrics.Product and Engineering trust you to take an ambiguous problem and return with a working, well-reasoned solution.The team ships faster because of the tools, prompts and practices you introduce.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.5+ years of software development experience, with a track record of owning and shipping features or products end to end.Specializing in frontend, mobile or backend is welcome. What matters is deep expertise in at least one area, plus practical experience working across the stack and the willingness to do so for smaller features.Technical SkillsDemonstrated daily use of AI coding tools (e.g. Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot) to accelerate development and solve problems.Expertise in at least one of the areas below, with working knowledge of the others:Frontend and mobile: React and TypeScript, or native mobile experience is a plus.Backend: C# and .NET Core, REST APIs, microservices and distributed systems.Data: SQL Server or Oracle, and NoSQL (Redis, Elasticsearch).CI/CD and cloud: Azure DevOps (Boards, Repos, Pipelines) and cloud solutions.Understanding of secure application development and sound testing practices.PreferredExperience in FinTech, trading, brokerage or capital markets.Experience with real-time data (WebSocket, streaming) and observability tooling (e.g. Elastic/Kibana).Arabic language skills or experience building bilingual (Arabic/English) products.Personal AttributesStrong ownership and bias for action; takes initiative without waiting to be asked.Curious and resourceful; finds answers independently and knows when to escalate.Comfortable with ambiguity and able to make and explain trade-offs.Knows when a problem needs a specialist and brings them in early.Sound judgement in evaluating and validating AI-generated work.Excellent verbal and written communication; collaborates well with Product, Design, QA and Engineering.
