Location: Manchester City Centre (Hybrid, 2 days per week in office)Role Type: PermanentSalary: £40,000 - £45,000 DOE plus benefitsOverview:Our client is an award-winning digital consultancy based in Manchester, delivering enterprise-scale digital platforms for a range of well-known organisations public, private and charity / NFP sectors.Due to continued growth, they're looking to appoint both a Mid-Level.

This is a hands-on role offering the opportunity to work across a variety of complex client projects, using modern Microsoft technologies within a collaborative, fast-paced environment.You'll become part of a dedicated Sprint Delivery Team, working across a portfolio of key client accounts. The role offers plenty of variety, with developers rotating between projects, solving different technical challenges and working closely with clients to deliver high-quality digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop and maintain enterprise-scale web applications using C#, ASP.NET Core, React and TypeScript.Deliver enhancements and new functionality across a range of digital platforms and client projects.Work closely with Solution Architects, Consultants and fellow Engineers to deliver high-quality technical solutions.Collaborate directly with clients to understand requirements and support successful project delivery.Contribute to technical discussions, code reviews and engineering best practice.Help maintain high standards through clean code, automated testing and CI/CD.Essential Skills and Experience:Commercial experience developing full stack applications using Microsoft technologies.Strong experience with C#, ASP.NET Core and Web APIs.Commercial experience with React, TypeScript, HTML and CSS.Good knowledge of SQL Server and relational databases.Experience delivering modern web applications within Agile environments.Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.A proactive approach and a passion for delivering high-quality software.Desirable:Experience with Umbraco.Experience working with headless CMS platforms such as Contentful.Microsoft Azure experience.Docker and containerisation.Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.Previous experience working within a digital agency or consultancy environment.If you have a genuine passion for software engineering and are looking to for a new opportunity in Manchester, please apply with an up-to-date copy of your CV, or feel free to contact me.Please note: All candidates must have full rights to work in the UK without any current or future requirements for sponsorship.
