Support CI/CD, cloud migration, test-driven development, code reviews, and release management to ensure reliable deployments. Collaborate with business, infrastructure, and security teams to deliver enhancements, resolve defects, and optimize production systems. Stay current with industry trends, follow corporate best practices, and provide ongoing application support, including participation in 24x7 support rotations.

Key Responsibilities

Design and build Android applications.Have a passion for writing clean, consistent, and elegant code to create scalable and reliable systemsContribute towards moving the team forward in leading edge processes like continuous integration, continuous delivery, cloud migration and test driven developmentWork with defect tracking, source code control and software release systems to ensure high-quality software releases over timeAssist in peer code reviews and provide constructive feedbackContribute to the design and development process as part of a SCRUM team.Transition from application development to support as needed to ensure that appropriate support is available in a timely and efficient manner.Drive build and release plans and implementation of all actions required to deploy applications to production environment.Assist development manager with planning, analysis and definition of high-level software strategies and solutions through functional knowledgeHave an understanding of the enterprise business systems and industry.Have a passion for keeping yourself current with industry trends and new technologies and ability to apply trends to architectural needsEnsure corporate policies and industry best practices are observed and followed in developed applications.Participate in rotating 24x7 shifts to support developed productsWork with business, infrastructure and security teams on delivering any enhancements and bug fixes for production systemsQualification & ExperienceBS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subjectExperience of at least 5 to 7 years with a Software DevelopmentCompetencies and Skills:Knowledge of Java and Java Spring boot framework.Experience with Backend Database (preferably Spanner) or NoSQL or Postgres databasesExperience with RESTful architecture and micro services. JSON and XML is requiredFamiliarity with containerization technologies (Kubernetes, Docker) and modern development practices and development lifecycle using Scrum, Kanban, Lean or other agile methodologiesFamiliarity with messaging middleware (Kafka, SQS)Experience with Event Driven Services
