Software Engineer – Data Platform (4-7 years)

Stop building basic ETL pipelines. Start building the data backbone for autonomous factories.We are looking for a Data Platform Software Engineer who treats data infrastructure as a pure software product. You won't just move data from A to B—you will write clean, testable backend architecture that weaves IoT sensors, machine health, and enterprise metrics into a live, industrial Digital Twin.Location: Bengaluru, India (Hybrid) Experience: 4-7 yearsResponsibilities:Designing streaming-first, event-driven architectures that gracefully handle real-world data chaos—like duplicate events, watermarking, and late-arriving data.Writing production-grade, highly maintainable Python services with a fierce discipline for unit/integration testing and clean code separation.Crafting graph-based relationships between machines, factories, and sensors so autonomous AI models can run structured queries seamlessly.Requirements:4+ years of hardcore backend experience building data-intensive applications or distributed software platforms.Deep mastery of Python, SQL, and complex data modeling.Hands-on experience with streaming infrastructure and modern lakehouse technology.Good to have if you have worked with IoT/Industrial data, context/knowledge graphs, or built infrastructure supporting LLMs and RAG frameworks.📧 Apply or Drop your resume at Santhoshini.Chandran@antal.com
