Software Engineer (Full-Stack, AI-Native)

Wolfia (YC S22, Khosla Ventures) is an AI teammate for customer-facing grunt work. We answer security questionnaires, RFPs, and technical reviews for teams at Miro, CircleCI, and Handshake. Think of the 400-question security review that eats your best engineer's week. We want to be the thing that answers it before lunch. Every week a questionnaire sits open is a week of stalled revenue, and we bring the cost of an expert answer down by an order of magnitude.We're hiring a full-stack engineer in India to work directly with the founder and our engineering team.Core responsibilitiesOwn features end to end. Design, build, ship, and iterate based on direct customer feedback.Build frontend with Next.js, React, TypeScript, Radix UI, Tailwind, and Shadcn.Build backend with Python, Postgres, and FastAPI, focused on AI agent capabilities such as retrieval, knowledge synthesis, and response generation.Drive technical design for services and features, and participate in roadmap discussions with an AI-first perspective.Our tech stackFrontend built on Next.js, React, TypeScript, Radix UI, Shadcn, TailwindBackend built on Python, Postgres, FastAPIDeployed to AWS and AzureOur core valuesBuilt to learn. You understand how to architect, build, and integrate AI agents, and coding agents (Claude Code, Cursor) are your default workflow, not an occasional tool.You care whether the answer is actually right. Our product lives or dies on retrieval quality, and we want people who instinctively verify.Proficiency across our stack (Next.js/React/TypeScript frontend, Python/FastAPI/Postgres backend).A strong sense of ownership. You ship without being steered, and you're comfortable talking to customers.Excellent written English.Candidates with an edgeDeep familiarity with LLMs, including retrieval pipelines, evals, citation grounding, and agent orchestration.Experience building for security, compliance, or other trust-sensitive domains where correctness and data handling are product features.Previous experience at an early-stage, high-growth B2B SaaS or AI startup.Show us something you shipped that we can read: a repo, a merged PR, a write-up.
