Job descriptionPOSITION SUMMARY:PHP developer who has a good understanding of PHP and JavaScript programming languages.Candidate should have more than 5+ years of experience in web development. RESPONSIBILITIES:Developing web application components/features using various scripting languages with good design principles.Maintenance and monitoring of the developed features and aim for improvementsImprove existing implemented codeDebug/troubleshoot for any reported issuesPerform configuration and data migration activities from legacy systems to the new platform.Perform log analysis and basic troubleshooting on Linux servers using shell toolsSupport automation or scripting of repetitive support or migration tasks when applicable.Develop performance-oriented SQL queries for web applicationsSolve performance, architectural or integration problems within the scopeWrite efficient and reusable codeWrite Unit Tests for all developed piece of codeWrite migrations for database updatesRegularly sync code with repositoriesUnderstand clear requirements, develop quality features, and deliver on timeCreating POC of any feature and explain limitations/overhead prior finalizing the solutionDemonstrate the feature functionality for customer acceptanceEntertain assigned tasks in timely manner REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:Working experience with PHP 7+ for over 5 yearsWorking experience with Codeigniter 3 over 3 yearsWorking experience with MYSQL 5.6+ for over 3 yearsSolid experience working with and troubleshooting REST APIsWorking experience with GIT version controlWorking experience of writing unit test casesExpert knowledge in popular PHP frameworks such as Codeigniter 3, Laravel 5+, Yii and SymfonyStrong understanding of MVC Design PatternExperience dealing with JavaScript, Ajax, jQuery, XML, XHTML, and other frontend technologiesAdvanced knowledge of object-oriented programming for PHP developmentExperience as a full-stack PHP developerExperience working with bootstrap 3+ grid systemStrong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skillsGood written and verbal communication skills, especially in documentation and inter-team coordination.Good Team Player PREFERRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:Experience converting Figma design to a web page (HTML/CSS)Experience working with frontend technologies like Angularjs, Backbonejs and NodejsExperience working with NoSQL databases like Mongo, Redis, Cassandra and Couch DBKnowledge of Web SocketsKnowledge of JIRA management toolBasic experience with AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, CloudWatch, RDS).Knowledge or exposure to AI/ML concept Experience:Web Development: 5 years (Required)PHP: 5 years (Required)Codeigniter: 3 years (Required)MySQL: 3 years (Required)
