Our goal is to make advanced financial tools simple, intuitive, and accessible - closing the gap between complex market data and real decision-making.We are a global, async-first, part-time team that values autonomy, clarity, collaboration, and thoughtful communication.Aout the RoleWe are looking for a Software Engineer – Front-End based in Japan to contribute to the development of a mobile-first trading platform.This role focuses on building intuitive, high-quality user interfaces and collaborating with a global team to deliver a reliable and scalable product.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain front-end applications using React and TypeScriptBuild responsive, mobile-first interfaces for web and mobile platformsIntegrate front-end components with REST APIs and WebSocket servicesCollaborate with backend engineers working with FastAPI-based systemsImplement state management solutions (Redux, Zustand, or similar)Create data visualizations using tools such as D3.js or Chart.jsEnsure performance optimization for real-time data and large datasetsTranslate Figma designs into functional UI componentsWrite and maintain front-end tests (Jest, React Testing Library)Maintain clean and well-documented code using GitRequirementsExperience with React and TypeScriptStrong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and responsive designExperience working with APIs and real-time dataFamiliarity with modern front-end development practicesExperience with version control (Git / GitHub)Ability to work independently in a remote, distributed teamProfessional working proficiency in EnglishPreferred QualificationsExperience with React NativeUnderstanding of mobile performance optimizationFamiliarity with app deployment standards (App Store / Google Play)Experience with UI tools such as FigmaInterest in building interactive or data-driven interfaces💡 Please Note - Equity-Only StructureThis is a part-time, equity-only role, suitable as a side engagement alongside a primary job or consulting work.The position will transition to compensated status after the MVP launch and once funding or sustainable revenue is secured.If you're excited about joining an early-stage mission-driven startup and helping build a next-generation trading platform, we’d love to hear from you.Apply here: https://app.dover.com/apply/Qompyl/0b7b5237-a3a3-4d12-9e61-65f24b4d3844?rs=42706078
