Software Engineer | Oxford | Onsite, 5 Days Per Week | PermanentC++ | Python | LinuxWe’re partnering with an established, engineering led organisation in Oxford that’s looking for a talented Software Engineer to join its growing development team.The interesting thing about this opportunity is that the team is genuinely open on level.You could be an earlier career engineer looking to accelerate your development, or a highly experienced engineer looking for genuinely challenging technical work. What matters most is strong technical ability, a passion for software engineering and the ability to solve difficult problems.You’ll be working on sophisticated backend systems that support business critical applications, using C++ and Python in an environment where software quality, innovation and continuous improvement are taken seriously.What You’ll Be Doing• Designing, developing and maintaining software using C++ and Python• Building reliable, scalable backend systems and services• Writing clean, well tested and maintainable code• Solving complex technical problems alongside experienced engineers• Contributing across the full software development lifecycle, from design through to deployment and ongoing support• Participating in a shared on call support rotaWhat We’re Looking ForWe’re deliberately not putting a particular seniority against this role.
