About the JobStyre Technologies — Software Engineer II Location: Karachi (Hybrid) Type: Full-TimeAbout the RoleWe're looking for a Software Engineer II to help build and scale the systems behind our client engagements and internal products. This is a full-stack role with real ownership from day one: you'll design integrations across complex data flows, build and tune production systems, and help shape the architectural decisions that determine where we go next.You'll work closely with a small team of engineers and founders, with direct visibility into the clients and outcomes your work supports.What You'll Build WithLanguages: JavaScript, SQLBackend: Node.js / ExpressFrontend: React.jsData: MySQL; experience with caching layers (Redis) a plusCloud: AWS — EC2, ECS, SQS, Lambda, Elastic Beanstalk, S3, and the surrounding ecosystemAPIs: RESTful design across multiple servicesTesting: Mocha / Chai for unit and integration coverageWorkflow: Git with trunk-based developmentWho You AreBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related STEM field4–6 years of professional software development experienceStrong foundation in computer science fundamentals — algorithms, data structures, and system designProficient in back-end web development, with a track record of building scalable, secure applicationsSolid grasp of object-oriented programming principles and modern development practicesSkilled in coding, debugging, and the kind of careful problem-solving that holds up in productionExperience with cloud platforms and modern dev toolingA clear communicator who collaborates well with engineers, clients, and non-technical stakeholdersSomeone who takes pride in their craft — clean code, thoughtful design, software worth putting your name onFamiliarity with enterprise integration environments is a plusContactWe'd love to hear from you.
