About Revolte Revolte is building AI for Software Engineering.We are creating an AI-native platform that helps engineering teams execute the software delivery lifecycle with speed, quality, and control - from planning and implementation to testing, release, governance, and production feedback.We're looking for a Software Engineer II – Frontend who can build high-quality, scalable web experiences and enjoys solving complex problems at the intersection of frontend engineering, AI, and developer experience.ResponsibilitiesBuild scalable, responsive, and high-performance web applications for Revolte.Develop reusable UI components and maintain clean, scalable frontend architecture.Translate product and design requirements into polished, production-ready experiences.Build intuitive interfaces for complex developer and engineering workflows.Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs, real-time services, and AI-powered capabilities.Collaborate closely with Product, Design, Backend, and AI Engineers to deliver features end to end.Participate in technical discussions, code reviews, architecture decisions, and debugging.Improve application performance, accessibility, reliability, and overall user experience.Contribute to Revolte's design system and reusable component libraries.Write maintainable, well-tested code and follow modern frontend engineering practices.Stay current with emerging frontend, AI, and web technologies and bring relevant improvements to the team.What We are Looking For 3–5 years of professional experience in frontend software development.Strong experience building and shipping production web applications.Strong understanding of frontend architecture, performance, and browser fundamentals.Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.Strong eye for detail and commitment to delivering polished user experiences.Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.Ownership mindset and ability to take features from concept to production.Interest in AI, developer tools, and modern software engineering.Technical SkillsStrong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and React.js.Experience with Next.js or similar modern frontend frameworks.Strong HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, and accessibility knowledge.Experience with state management such as Redux, Zustand, Context API, or similar.Experience building and consuming REST APIs and working with asynchronous data.Familiarity with WebSockets, streaming interfaces, or real-time applications is a plus.Experience with Git, GitHub, testing frameworks, and CI/CD workflows.Understanding of frontend performance optimisation, browser debugging, and web security.Experience with Tailwind CSS or modern CSS frameworks is desirable.Familiarity with design systems, component libraries, Storybook, or Figma is a plus.Exposure to AI/LLM-powered interfaces, AI agents, or developer tools is a plus.Why Join RevolteBuild the future of AI-powered software engineering.Work at the intersection of frontend engineering, AI, developer experience, and cloud technology.Solve complex UX and engineering challenges used by modern engineering teams.Work closely with experienced engineers, designers, and AI specialists.Take ownership of features from technical design through production.Work with modern technologies and continuously expand your engineering skills.Join a high-ownership environment where your ideas can directly influence what we build.Grow with an ambitious AI-first company shaping the next generation of software engineering.
