Software Engineering InternBucharest · Hybrid · Full-time · Paid (Range: 4325 RON Gross - 5000 RON Gross)We're looking for a Software Engineering Intern to join our team at WorkflowTime.This isn't an internship where you'll spend three months watching other people build things. You'll work alongside our team on real products used by real clients, from AI-powered tools and automations to web and mobile applications.You'll get to see what happens after the demo works: real users, messy data, bugs, deployments, feedback, and all the small decisions that turn an idea into something people can actually rely on.If things go well, we'd love for the internship to turn into a full-time Junior Software Engineer role.What you'll be working onDepending on the project, you might:Build features for web applications using React, Next.js and TypeScriptWork on Python backends and APIs with FastAPIBuild AI features using LLMs, agents, tool calling and retrievalWork with real client documents and dataHelp us test and evaluate AI outputs so we know they actually workBuild automations and integrations between different platforms and APIsWork with Postgres, Supabase and other databasesHelp deploy and monitor applications in productionOccasionally work on mobile applications using Flutter or React NativeYou won't be expected to know all of this already. That's the point of an internship.What we do expect is that you're comfortable figuring things out, asking questions when you're stuck, and taking ownership of the things you build.What we're looking forWe're much more interested in what you can build than in having a perfect CV.Ideally:You're studying or recently graduated in Computer Science, Software Engineering or something similarYou're comfortable with JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or bothYou understand the fundamentals of programming and have worked with GitYou've built something outside of coursework, such as an app, website, bot, automation, side project, student project, or anything else someone could actually useYou use tools like Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or similar to help you code, but you still understand what you're shippingYou're comfortable reading documentation and debugging when things don't workYour English is good enough to work and communicate in it day to dayMost importantly, we're looking for someone curious, reliable and genuinely interested in building software.You don't need to tick every box.
