Software Engineer IVPrimary Location: St Louis, MOV-Soft Consulting is currently hiring a Software Engineer IV for our premier client St Louis, MO.Education and Experience:Experience integrating systems through APIs, databases, and enterprise applications. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience. 2+ years of experience developing and supporting software solutions in production environments. Knowledge, Skills And Abilities »Working knowledge of C#, Python, Java, or similar languages. Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skillsUnderstanding of testing, quality assurance, and release management practices. Interest in AI engineering, RAG applications, agentic workflows, LLM-based systems, or AI-enabled automation. Nice to HaveExperience with Blue Prism, UiPath, and/or ABBYY OCR. Experience with intelligent document processing or AI-enabled automationExperience with Databricks. Hands-on experience with LangGraph or similar agent orchestration frameworks. Experience building AI workflows that leverage tools, APIs, MCP servers, and external systems. Understanding of agent architecture patterns, prompt engineering, and LLM evaluation techniques. Experience with AWS, Azure, or other cloud platforms. WHAT YOU'LL DO:Job Responsibilities:Help build and evolve RAG, agent-based, and AI workflow solutions under the guidance of senior technical leadership. Implement AI observability, tracing, and monitoring capabilities. Integrate AI and automation solutions with enterprise applications, databases, APIs, document repositories, and file-based systems. Design and develop automation solutions, primarily using Blue Prism, UiPath. MindsetTakes ownership and follows problems through to resolution. Self-motivated and comfortable learning quickly in a rapidly evolving technical space. Proactively identifies process exceptions, edge cases, and risks. Balances speed, quality, reliability, and maintainability.
