Software Engineering InternWe’re looking for a highly motivated Mobile Software Engineering Intern who wants hands-on experience building and launching a real product across Android, iOS, Flutter, and web.This is an unpaid internship for someone who already has a foundation in software development, learns quickly, works independently, and wants to contribute to a product that will actually ship.Company Description SideKix HQ Inc. is an emerging platform created by entrepreneurs to support and empower other entrepreneurs at every stage of their journey. The company focuses on helping individuals begin, build, and grow their ventures with practical tools and community-driven support. SideKix is in a pre-launch phase and is actively building its core product and infrastructure. Applicants will join a small, mission-driven team working on an early-stage product with room for input and innovation. Interested contributors can help shape the platform as it moves toward launch and broader adoption.Role Description The Software Engineer (Unpaid) role at SideKix HQ Inc. is a part-time, remote position focused on building and improving the platform’s back-end systems and core product features. The Software Engineer will work closely with founders and other team members to translate product requirements into technical solutions and iterate quickly based on feedback. This position is ideal for individuals seeking hands-on experience in an entrepreneurial environment while contributing to a growing startup.What You’ll DoBuild and improve features across Flutter, native Android with Kotlin, and native iOS with Swift/SwiftUI.Work within our existing Flutter codebase to build features, fix bugs, improve performance, and refactor existing functionality.Help develop and maintain native Android and iOS functionality and platform-specific integrations.Translate Figma designs into polished, responsive, production-ready experiences.Integrate APIs, authentication, AI and voice features, notifications, analytics, and cloud services.Contribute to testing, debugging, code reviews, App Store and Google Play releases, and ongoing product improvements.Take ownership of assigned features and technical problems and be comfortable figuring things out without needing step-by-step direction.Depending on experience, contribute to website and web application development using React and related technologies.What You BringWorking experience with Flutter and Dart, whether through professional, academic, freelance, or substantial personal projects.Experience with Kotlin and Android development, ideally including Jetpack Compose.Experience with Swift, SwiftUI, and native iOS development.Understanding of APIs, Git/GitHub, debugging, application architecture, and modern development workflows.An independent, action-oriented mindset with the ability to learn unfamiliar technologies quickly and solve problems.Bonus: Experience with React, TypeScript, or modern web development.What You’ll GainYou won’t spend the internship working on hypothetical assignments.
