MUNDOWALLSTREET,Inc was formed in 2026, built in New York City, and is available in both Spanish and English.Role Description The Software Engineering Intern — Full-Stack & AI will contribute to the design, development, and testing of features across the web application stack, helping to improve research workflows and user experience. Day-to-day tasks may include implementing front-end components, building and integrating APIs, working with data pipelines, and collaborating on AI-powered features that support financial research without giving individual investment advice. The intern will participate in code reviews, write documentation, and assist with troubleshooting and performance optimization. This is an on-site internship role based in New York, NY, working closely with the founding team in a fast-paced early-stage environment.Qualifications Foundational software engineering skills, including experience with modern programming languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript/TypeScript) and version control tools such as Git.Exposure to full-stack web development, including front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, or similar) and back-end development with APIs, databases, and server-side frameworks.Interest or coursework in AI and machine learning, such as working with LLMs, NLP, data processing pipelines, or ML libraries and frameworks.Comfort working with data, including parsing, cleaning, and transforming structured and unstructured information, and basic familiarity with SQL or NoSQL databases.Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills, with attention to detail and a willingness to iterate quickly on prototypes.Clear written and verbal communication skills, and ability to collaborate effectively in a small, multidisciplinary team.Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Interest in financial markets, U.S. public companies, or fintech products; familiarity with SEC filings or earnings reports is a plus.Professional proficiency in English; Spanish language skills are a strong plus given the platform’s Spanish-first focus.
