Orders arrive in WhatsApp with Accept and Out of stock buttons, stock and payments are handled from the same chat, and an AI assistant answers the seller's questions and drafts a new look for their shop when asked. We are opening to our first businesses now.sellfront.inThe internshipYou will join a very small team building the product itself: the storefront buyers shop on, the seller's app, and the part that makes Sell Front unusual, a WhatsApp chat that runs the whole shop. You will ship real features to real businesses, with every change reviewed by the founders.What you will work on

• Features across the storefront and the seller app (TypeScript, Next.js, React).
• The background jobs behind every order, payment, stock change and photo (Node.js, BullMQ, Redis).
• The data layer: PostgreSQL with Drizzle ORM, migrations and tests.
• The WhatsApp side: messages, buttons, and the one-line commands sellers type.
• AI features: the seller's assistant, and AI Restyle, which turns a request like "make it festive for Diwali" into a draft of the shop. Prompts, tool use, checking the model's output, and keeping it safely sandboxed.
• Tests (Vitest), and the small things that make a product feel finished.You should have
• Working knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript, and Git.
• Something you have built end to end: a project, a hackathon entry or an open-source contribution.
• Basic SQL, and an understanding of how web apps work: HTTP, APIs, the browser and the server.
• The habit of reading the error, looking it up and trying before asking, and asking when you are stuck.
• Clear written English: much of our work happens in writing.
• Availability for 2 months.A plus, not required
• Agentic AI: you have built with LLMs beyond a single prompt, using tool calling, multi-step agents, retrieval (RAG) or evaluations, with LangChain, LangGraph, the OpenAI or Anthropic SDKs, or something similar.
• Next.js or React in a real project.
• Queues and background work (BullMQ, Celery or similar), Redis, PostgreSQL.
• The WhatsApp Business Platform, or another messaging API.
• Docker, AWS (S3, Lambda) or any cloud.
• Writing tests.
• Telling us, in the form, about a business that could use Sell Front, or reposting our hiring post so more people see it.What you get
