Our digital wealth management platform- will enable banks and other financial institutions in the Middle East to grow and further penetrate affluent, HNW and UHNW investor segments.While still leveraging the capabilities and knowledge of large organizations, our fintech is a startup with truly cross-functional and agile teams.For more information, please visit www.alpheya.comAlpheya is looking for a highly motivated Software Engineer Intern (UAE National) who will be a part of dynamic and extremely skillful AI team.ResponsibilitiesLearn and contribute to software development across our technology stack through hands-on projects and mentored assignmentsCollaborate with experienced engineers to understand best practices in software developmentWrite clean, documented code while receiving guidance from senior team membersParticipate in code reviews to learn from feedback and understand quality standardsAssist in testing and debugging of applicationsDocument your work and contribute to technical documentationTake part in team meetings and agile ceremonies to understand our development processCurrent stack:Frontend: Next.jsBackend: Node.js (experience layer), Go (system layer), Python (AI)APIs: GraphQL, gRPCOther technologies: PostgreSQL, Kubernetes, Flux, Azure, GithubRequirementsCurrently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical fieldBasic programming knowledge in any modern programming languageEagerness to learn and ability to adapt to new technologiesStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailGood communication skills and ability to work in a team environmentInterest in software development best practices and coding standardsBasic understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git)Nice to have:Familiarity with any of the following: JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or GoPrevious project experience (personal, academic, or professional)Interest in fintech, banking, or wealth managementDuration: 6-12 weeks between Mid-September to DecemberLocation: ADGM - Abu Dhabi
