Working closely with Product Owners, Architects, Scrum Masters and senior business stakeholders, you'll ensure engineering teams consistently deliver high-quality software aligned with the organisation's strategic technology roadmap.This role offers the opportunity to influence engineering culture, champion best practice and drive continuous improvement across software delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership & DeliveryTechnical Leadership & ArchitectureAgile Governance & Continuous ImprovementStakeholder & Partner ManagementProduct InnovationPeople Leadership & DevelopmentAbout YouWe're looking for an experienced engineering leader with a strong software development background and a passion for building exceptional teams and technology.Essential Experience10+ years' experience in software engineering, including at least 3 years in an Engineering Manager or similar leadership roleProven success delivering enterprise web and mobile platforms within Agile environmentsExperience leading multiple engineering teams delivering complex digital productsStrong technical background in modern web technologies, including React, React Native and Node.jsSolid understanding of software architecture, scalable system design and secure engineering practicesExperience implementing DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelinesDemonstrable experience driving Agile delivery, ideally within SAFe or other scaled Agile frameworksExcellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business outcomesExperience identifying and implementing AI or machine learning initiatives within software engineering environments
