As part of this journey, the company is investing in new platforms, intelligent applications and digital capabilities to enhance customer experiences and drive innovation across the business.This is an opportunity to join a forward-looking organisation where technology, AI and data play a central role in shaping the future of its industry.Roles & ResponsibilitiesTechnical Strategy & Engineering LeadershipDefine and drive the technical strategy, roadmap and architecture across a portfolio of customer-facing applications and core platform services.Ensure applications are scalable, secure, highly available and optimised for performance on AWS.Champion engineering best practices across CI/CD, observability, automated testing and the full SDLC.Lead, mentor and develop multiple engineering teams and senior engineering leaders, fostering a culture of technical excellence and accountability.Oversee the delivery of engineering initiatives, ensuring high-quality and predictable execution.Portfolio, Vendor & Stakeholder ManagementOversee the development and evolution of customer-facing applications, backend platforms, APIs and integration services.Manage strategic relationships with technology vendors and outsourcing partners, including SLAs, performance, risk and contract deliverables.Drive cost optimisation across technology services and platforms.Partner closely with executive leadership, Product, Finance and regional business stakeholders to align technology priorities with business objectives.Communicate technical strategy, progress and risks clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Required Skillsets & Qualifications10+ years of progressive software engineering experience, including at least 5 years in an engineering leadership role.Proven experience managing and scaling multiple engineering teams.Strong hands-on technical background in solution architecture and development using technologies including, but not limited to: Java, Javascript, React, AWS.Strong understanding of modern software engineering practices, including CI/CD, observability, automated testing and Agile/Scrum methodologies.Experience managing technology vendors and external partners, including contract negotiations and performance management.Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business outcomes.Morgan McKinley Pte LtdChow Mon FeiEA Licence No: 11C5502EA Registration No. R1877534
