Software Enginer

Role Description This part-time remote Software Engineer role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions that support business and user requirements. Day-to-day tasks include writing clean, efficient code, implementing back-end web services and APIs, and collaborating with other team members through online communication tools. The Software Engineer will participate in code reviews, debug and resolve issues, and contribute to improving system performance and reliability. The role also involves documenting technical solutions, following best practices for software development, and staying current with relevant technologies and standards.QualificationsStrong foundation in Computer Science principles and software engineering concepts.Proficiency in Software Development and Programming, with experience building and maintaining applications.Hands-on experience in Back-End Web Development, including working with APIs, databases, and server-side frameworks.Solid understanding and practical use of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) for designing scalable and maintainable code.Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and communicate clearly in written and spoken English.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Experience with modern development stacks, testing practices, and security considerations is an advantage.
