قدّم وتابع مع أبلاي إيدجRole DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled and solution-oriented software engineering professional to design, develop, test, maintain, and improve high-quality software applications and technology solutions. This role focuses on building scalable, reliable, secure, and maintainable systems while collaborating with product, engineering, design, data, and other technical teams.The successful candidate will contribute to the full software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis and system design through implementation, testing, deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement. The role may involve developing new applications, enhancing existing systems, resolving technical issues, improving performance, and supporting engineering best practices.Key responsibilities include:Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain reliable software applications and services.Translate functional and technical requirements into effective software solutions.Write clean, efficient, maintainable, and well-documented code.Participate in system design, architecture discussions, technical planning, and solution development.Develop APIs, backend services, frontend applications, integrations, or other software components as required.Perform code reviews and promote engineering standards, coding best practices, and software quality.Develop and maintain automated unit, integration, and functional tests.Troubleshoot software defects, production issues, performance problems, and technical challenges.Optimize application performance, scalability, reliability, and resource utilization.Collaborate with product managers, designers, QA engineers, DevOps teams, data specialists, and other stakeholders.Participate in Agile development processes, sprint planning, technical discussions, and project delivery activities.Maintain technical documentation covering software architecture, APIs, systems, processes, and development procedures.Use version control and modern software development workflows to manage source code and releases.Support CI/CD pipelines, cloud environments, deployment processes, and production operations where required.Evaluate new technologies, frameworks, libraries, and development tools to improve engineering productivity.Identify technical risks, dependencies, and opportunities for system or process improvement.Mentor team members and contribute to knowledge sharing and technical capability development where applicable.QualificationsBachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.Strong understanding of software engineering principles, programming concepts, algorithms, data structures, and system design.Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, C#, C++, Go, or similar.Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, software architecture, design patterns, and development methodologies.Familiarity with relational and non-relational databases, SQL, APIs, and distributed systems.Understanding of Git and modern source-control practices.Familiarity with testing frameworks, automated testing, debugging, and software quality practices.Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud is an advantage.Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, DevOps practices, or infrastructure automation is an advantage.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.Excellent attention to detail and commitment to software quality, security, reliability, and maintainability.Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Strong ability to manage multiple technical priorities and deliverables in an organized manner.Understanding of Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or other modern software development methodologies.Ability to learn new technologies, frameworks, and tools quickly.Proactive, collaborative, adaptable, and solutions-oriented approach.Relevant software development, cloud, architecture, or technology certifications are an advantage but not mandatory.
