Onsite- Fort Worth, TXSenior Software Integration EngineerJob ID: Aeronautics 22028-1Location:1 Lockheed Boulevard, Fort Worth, TX, 76108Work Arrangement: Onsite Full TimeSchedule: 4/10-AContract: 12 MonthsPay Rate: $55-$85.00/hour OT40Security Clearance: Active Secret requiredJob SummarySeeking a Software Integration Engineer Sr to support software development and integration across aircraft software, high-fidelity simulators, and laboratory environments combining constructive simulations, physical hardware, and system-level models.ResponsibilitiesDevelop, integrate, support, and debug software across multiple platforms.Design, build, and support automation frameworks using open-source, commercial, and in-house tools.Own and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines to maintain reliable and reproducible builds.Support virtual development labs and aircraft-software workflows.Work with automation infrastructure, software integration, and build processes.Participate in daily scrums, sprint reviews, and technical demonstrations.Collaborate with engineers, scientists, customers, and cross-functional teams.Support software integration across aircraft, simulator, and laboratory environments.Basic QualificationsBachelor’s degree or above from an accredited college/university in a STEM discipline, or equivalent experience.3+ years of experience programming in C++.3+ years of experience programming in Python.1–2 years of experience developing software on Linux, specifically Red Hat or SUSE12.Experience with software development and integration.Experience working with simulation software environments is preferred.Desired SkillsExperience with CI tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or Bitbucket.Real-time software development and integration.Python programming.Simulation software environments or Digital Twin environments.Software development for airborne systems.Aircraft sensors, datalinks, navigation, and/or weapons.Open Mission Systems.Experience leading software projects.Hardware integration experience.
