GeoWise intelligently scores, filters, and prices available slots based on skills, capacity, distance, and deposit rules to keep technicians’ schedules efficient and back-to-back. Customers can book through WhatsApp in Arabic and English, a website widget, a hosted page, by phone, or via any AI assistant through the API. The company focuses on high-performance, real-world scheduling solutions that streamline operations and improve customer experience.Role Description The Software QA Engineer (Web & Mobile) is a full-time, on-site role based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia in our global HQ. The person in this role will design and execute test plans and test cases for web and mobile applications, ensuring functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end quality across GeoWise’s scheduling and AI receptionist platforms. Daily tasks include manual testing of new features and bug fixes, validating cross-browser and cross-device behavior, documenting defects, and working closely with software developers and product managers to clarify requirements and improve overall product reliability. The Software QA Engineer will collaborate on release readiness, maintain test documentation, contribute to test process improvements, and support production issue investigations. The role involves active participation in Agile ceremonies, clear communication of risks and test results, and a continuous focus on user experience and performance.QualificationsStrong foundation in Software Quality, Quality Assurance, and Software Quality Assurance, with experience in defining and applying test standards and best practices.Hands-on expertise in Manual Testing of web and mobile applications, including functional, regression, usability, and cross-platform testing.Working knowledge of Software Development concepts, SDLC, and Agile methodologies to collaborate effectively with engineering teams.Experience creating test plans, test cases, and test reports, and using issue-tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, or similar).Familiarity with APIs and basic tools for API testing; exposure to automation frameworks or scripting is a plus.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.Clear written and spoken communication skills in English; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.Experience testing location-based, mapping, or scheduling solutions, or products for field/home
