Software Test Automation/QA Engineer

Contract: 12 months (renewable)Employment: Outsourced through Manpower Middle EastAbout the Role: Our client, a leader in the Travel and Tourism Technology industry, is seeking a Software Test Automation Engineer (QA) to join their team. As a Senior Software Test Automation/QA Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust automated testing solutions across web, mobile, and API-based applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in test automation, CI/CD integration, and quality engineering, which will align successfully within the organization.About the Requirements: Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for web, mobile, and API testing.Create and execute automated test suites using tools such as Selenium, Appium, RestAssured, TestNG, and JUnit.Implement automation best practices to improve test coverage, reliability, and maintainability.Perform functional, integration, system, regression, user acceptance, API, and performance testing activities.Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, and ArgoCD.Collaborate closely with development, DevOps, product, and business teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.Analyze production issues, perform root cause analysis, and support continuous quality improvement initiatives.About You: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.Strong hands-on experience in software testing, test automation, and quality engineering.Proven expertise with Selenium, Appium, RestAssured, Postman, JMeter, TestNG, and JUnit.Strong programming experience in Java and Spring Framework.Knowledge of Oracle, MySQL, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, Git, Kibana, and Grafana.Hands-on experience working within Agile/Scrum environments.Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, stakeholder management, and communication skills.ISTQB Foundation Level Certification is preferred.
