This role involves designing, writing, and maintaining test cases, executing manual and automated tests, and validating software functionality against requirements. The Software Test Engineer collaborates with software developers, business analysts, and project managers to identify defects, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high-quality releases. Daily responsibilities include documenting test results, reporting and tracking bugs, participating in review meetings, and contributing to the improvement of testing processes, tools, and standards. The role also requires maintaining a strong understanding of project objectives and system architecture to ensure comprehensive test coverage.‏We’re Hiring | Senior QA Engineer – Fleet & IoT SystemsWe are looking for an experienced Senior QA Engineer to join our Product Development / Quality Assurance team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Software Testing, Test Automation, API Testing, Real-Time Data Validation, IoT ecosystems, and Agile Scrum, with hands-on experience in distributed and microservices-based systems.- Key Responsibilities:* Develop and implement comprehensive QA strategies, test plans, and test cases.* Perform end-to-end testing of Fleet Management and IoT platforms.* Validate telemetry data including GPS, sensors, events, and real-time data.* Perform UI, API, integration, system, regression, performance, and load testing.* Develop and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.* Perform API testing using REST Assured and Postman.* Validate data across microservices, databases, and messaging systems such as Kafka/RabbitMQ.* Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.* Collaborate with Product, Development, and DevOps teams within an Agile Scrum environment.* Manage defects, perform root-cause analysis, and provide quality reports and metrics.- Requirements:* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.* 5+ years of QA experience, including at least 2+ years in IoT or Fleet Management systems.* Strong experience in both Manual and Automation Testing.* Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, or Python.* Experience with Selenium / Playwright / Cypress.* Strong API testing experience.* Knowledge of Kafka, Microservices, SQL/NoSQL databases.* Experience with Jira, Xray, TestRail, Git, and CI/CD.* Agile Scrum experience is mandatory.- Preferred Qualifications:* Experience with Fleet Management Systems (FMS).* Knowledge of GPS tracking and geospatial systems.* ISTQB or equivalent certification.* Experience with DevOps and CI/CD integration.* Docker and Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).- Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia Work Type: Full-Time | On-site – HQ & Customer Sites within KSA
