🌍 Now Hiring: Software Test Lead – MES (Limerick, Ireland | Onsite)Do you see yourself as the last line of defence between a software release and the manufacturing floor? EFOR Group, a trusted Life Sciences consulting partner, is looking for an experienced Software Test Lead to own quality on a major Manufacturing Execution System (MES) programme in Limerick.What you'll do:Define, own and keep improving the testing strategy for MES implementations, upgrades and integrationsLead and mentor a team of test engineers, building a culture of quality and right-first-time deliveryDesign and maintain test plans, cases and scripts for functional, regression, integration, performance and UAT testingWork with DevOps teams to build automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and speed up release cyclesAct as the quality gate for MES releases, making sure every change meets GxP, functional and performance requirementsRun defect management (triage, root cause analysis and resolution tracking) in Azure DevOps or JiraSupport Computer System Validation (CSV) activities and report clear testing metrics to senior leadershipYour background:Proven experience as a Testing Lead or Senior QA Engineer on complex enterprise software implementationsStrong command of testing methodologies and tools (ISTQB or equivalent preferred)Experience in Agile/DevOps delivery environmentsHands-on experience with test management tools (Azure DevOps, Jira, Zephyr, qTest)Experience in a regulated industry (pharma, life sciences, food & beverage or similar)Able to explain quality and risk topics clearly to technical and non-technical audiencesSyncade (Emerson) or other off-the-shelf MES experience (eBR, workflow configuration, integrations) is a strong advantageGAMP 5, CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, GitHub Actions), test automation (Selenium, Playwright, Cypress) or ERP/LIMS integration experience (SAP) is a plusWhy EFOR Group?EFOR brings together more than 3,200 experts in 18 countries, delivering technical, quality and engineering excellence across the full Life Sciences product lifecycle.
