Software Tester

🚀 We're Hiring: Software Tester / QA Automation EngineerWe are looking for an experienced Software Tester / QA Automation Engineer to join our team and contribute to delivering high-quality, reliable software applications.🔹 Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web and software applications.Execute functional, regression, integration, system, and automated testing.Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA teams to understand requirements and define effective test strategies.Identify, analyze, document, and track defects through to resolution.Develop and maintain automation frameworks to improve test coverage, efficiency, and reliability.Perform API testing using tools such as Postman, Swagger, or similar.Validate application data and backend processes using SQL/Oracle databases.Test batch jobs, scheduled processes, job dependencies, and output files where applicable.Analyze test results and provide clear quality insights to stakeholders.Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.Support CI/CD processes and contribute to improving testing practices and automation.Assist with deployment, cutover, smoke testing, rollback, and post-deployment validation activities.Maintain appropriate test documentation and ensure testing aligns with quality standards.🔹 Required Skills & Experience5+ years of experience in Software Testing / QA, preferably with strong automation experience.Hands-on experience with automation tools/frameworks such as Cypress, Selenium, Playwright, or similar.Good programming/scripting skills in JavaScript, Python, Java, or equivalent.Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and QA best practices.Experience with API testing and tools such as Postman or Swagger.Good knowledge of SQL and database validation.Experience with Git and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or similar.Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and web application testing.Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software.🔹 Nice to HaveExperience with Docker/containerized environments.Exposure to batch processing and scheduled job testing.Experience with Oracle or other relational databases.Exposure to Windows/Linux server environments.Experience supporting production deployments, cutover, rollback, or migration activities.Financial services / banking domain experience is an advantage.📩 If you are interested then please apply on my email address urvashi.sharma@easpire.netThanks & RegardsUrvashi Sharma Sr. Executive – Talent Acquisition urvashi.sharma@easpire.net
