Department: Training & PlacementPosition OverviewAmity University Patna is looking for an experienced Software Trainer to deliver technical and software-based training programs aimed at preparing students for campus placements and industry requirements.The candidate will be responsible for conducting practical training, improving students' technical skills, and preparing them for technical assessments, coding rounds, interviews, and placement drives.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct technical/software training sessions for students across different programs.Prepare students for campus placements, technical assessments, coding tests and technical interviews.Deliver hands-on training on relevant programming languages, software tools and technical platforms.Design practical exercises, assignments, mock tests and placement-oriented training modules.Conduct coding and technical assessment sessions based on industry requirements.Identify students' skill gaps and provide appropriate technical guidance.Conduct mock technical interviews and interview-preparation sessions.Coordinate with the Training & Placement team and academic faculty for placement training activities.Organize technical workshops, boot camps and industry-oriented skill-development programs.Track student participation, performance and progress during training.Keep training content updated according to current industry and recruiter requirements.Technical AreasCandidates with expertise in one or more of the following will be preferred:Programming: C, C++, Java, PythonData Structures & AlgorithmsSQL / Database ManagementWeb TechnologiesObject-Oriented ProgrammingSoftware Development ToolsAptitude / Technical Assessment PlatformsOther industry-relevant technical skillsQualificationB.Tech / B.E. / MCA / M.Sc.
Computer Science / IT or relevant technical qualification.Relevant professional certifications will be an added advantage.ExperiencePrior experience as a Software/Technical Trainer is Mandatory.Experience in Placement Training / Campus Recruitment Training / Technical Training is highly preferred.Experience training college/university students will be an added advantage.Freshers are not eligible.Required SkillsStrong technical and software knowledge.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Strong classroom and student-management skills.Ability to explain technical concepts through practical examples.Strong understanding of placement and recruitment processes.Ability to train students according to industry and recruiter expectations.PreferredExperience with engineering/management students and campus placement programs.Experience with reputed training organizations, universities, colleges or corporate technical training.Patna-based candidates preferred.Immediate / early joiners preferred.📩 Interested candidates may share their CV at:dtiwari@ptn.amity.edu
