The group emphasizes strong project management practices, adaptation to regional climatic conditions, and active participation in specialized renewable energy associations.Role Description The Solar Photovoltaic System Specialist is a full-time, hybrid role based in Dubai, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. This role involves designing, analyzing, and optimizing solar PV systems for grid-connected and off-grid applications, including system layout, component selection, and performance modeling. The specialist will review site assessments, conduct feasibility studies, and prepare technical documentation such as single-line diagrams, specifications, and reports to support EPC projects. Daily responsibilities include coordinating with engineering, procurement, and construction teams, reviewing supplier proposals, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, and safety requirements. The role also includes monitoring system performance, supporting commissioning and troubleshooting activities, and contributing to continuous improvement of design practices and tools.Qualifications Strong knowledge of Solar Power and Solar Systems, including PV system design, performance analysis, and optimization.Background in the Solar Industry and Power Generation, with experience in utility-scale or commercial solar projects.Understanding of Wind Energy and broader renewable energy concepts, enabling integration and comparison of multiple technologies.Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.Experience with PV design and simulation software (e.g., PVsyst, Helioscope, AutoCAD or similar CAD tools).Familiarity with grid interconnection requirements, international and regional electrical standards, and safety regulations.Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and documentation, with strong written and verbal communication skills in English.Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams and manage priorities in a project-driven environment.Relevant professional certifications in solar or renewable energy (e.g., PV design, project management) are an advantage.
