Solution Architect – Automotive InnovationAbout the RoleWe are looking for an experienced Solution Architect to lead the design and delivery of innovative, enterprise-scale technology solutions for the automotive domain. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong technical expertise who can translate business objectives into scalable solution architectures while driving digital transformation initiatives.The ideal candidate will have extensive experience across solution architecture, business architecture, cloud technologies, and digital engineering, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign end-to-end solution architectures for enterprise applications, digital platforms, and data-driven initiatives.Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and high-performing technical solutions.Define architecture blueprints, integration patterns, system interactions, and high-level solution designs.Collaborate with business leaders, architects, developers, data engineers, and DevOps teams to deliver business-focused solutions.Drive architecture governance and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards and best practices.Perform business capability assessments, identify gaps, and define current, transition, and target architecture roadmaps.Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions that improve business performance.Provide technical leadership, architectural guidance, and mentoring to engineering teams throughout the project lifecycle.Prepare architecture presentations and communicate recommendations effectively to senior stakeholders.Required SkillsStrong expertise in Enterprise and Solution Architecture with hands-on experience designing large-scale digital solutions.Experience with Business Architecture, capability modeling, architecture assessments, and transformation roadmaps.Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud services and modern cloud-native architectures.Experience with AI and Generative AI technologies.Good understanding of microservices, APIs, system integrations, DevOps, and CI/CD practices.Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.15+ years of IT experience, including at least 5 years in a Solution Architecture role.Experience in the Automotive Dealership and Distribution domain is highly preferred.TOGAF certification is highly desirable. Business Architecture certifications (such as CBA) are an added advantage.Microsoft Azure Solution Architect or Azure-related certifications are preferred.Preferred CompetenciesStrategic thinking with strong business acumen.Excellent presentation and documentation skills.Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.Collaborative leadership style with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.Passion for innovation and emerging technologies.
