Solutions Architect

Job overview and responsibilityThis is a senior lead role covering three areas: system architecture, client-facing technical engagement, and team leadership — not a pure engineering position. You will design scalable AI-driven platforms for insurance and healthcare clients, represent the technical team in meetings with insurers, banks, and hospitals, and manage the delivery capacity of a development team. Internal domain specialists handle insurance terminology in client engagements; your job is to understand how our products work well enough to design solutions for the clients.Architecture & Technical Standards- Own end-to-end system architecture for scalable, AI-enabled backend platforms — from microservices design to cloud deployment on GCP- Design and maintain robust backend APIs using TypeScript, and the NestJS framework- Architect integrations of LLMs, OCR, and AI workflow orchestration into core product modules- Produce and maintain C4 diagrams, system/logical diagrams, and technical documentation for internal and client-facing use- Drive technical standards, code quality, and development best practices across the engineering teamClient Engagement- Represent the technical team in solution discussions with insurance companies, banks, and healthcare institutions- Communicate architectural decisions clearly to non-technical client stakeholders — design rationale, scalability approach, traffic handling, and cross-border data integration- Collaborate with internal specialists (insurance) to address client requirements effectively during engagementsTeam Leadership & Delivery- Manage a team of junior and senior developers: define delivery timelines, allocate tasks, and drive project accountability- Conduct code reviews to uphold clean code, security, and architectural standards- Mentor and guide team members across seniority levels; build a knowledge-sharing culture- Oversee system integration testing, performance testing, and UAT cycles- Coordinate end-to-end project delivery across Product, DevOps, QA, and business stakeholdersRequired skills and experiences- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field- Minimum 10 years of experience in web application development and system integration- Fluent English required (written and spoken)- Hands-on backend expertise: Node.js, TypeScript, NestJS- Experience in converting a business idea into a technical relationship- Strong command of scalable system architecture, microservices, and RESTful API design- Experience working within Insurance industry/ Insurance products- Agile/SCRUM experience- Google Cloud Platform (GCP) experience (our team is Google golden partner)- Experience with MySQL or other relational databases- Proven track record leading full-cycle tech projects and managing teams of junior and senior developers- Ability to create and present C4 diagrams and system architecture documentation to both technical and non-technical audiences- Strong interpersonal and communication skills — comfortable in management-level client discussionsPreferred skills and experiences- Experience integrating AI/LLM platforms (OpenAI, Google Gemini, Claude, or similar)- AWS experience- Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized deployment environments- CI/CD pipelines, Git-based workflows, and DevOps practices- Portfolio of previous architectural works (C4 diagrams, system/logical diagrams from past projects)- Experience with international or cross-border data integration and system scalability planning- Cantonese proficiency- Experience in a product-based company serving B2B enterprise clients in insurance, banking, or healthcareWhy Candidate should apply this position- Competitive salary and performance bonus- Multicultural working environment- Full social insurance as per Vietnamese regulations- Monday–Friday, 08:00–17:00Interview processInterview with HR + COO (about business sense)-> Take-home test -> Interview with IT Director (technical questions + a small live coding quest) -> Discuss with CEO
