We take on the high-stakes technical and commercial work that decides deals: reading an incoming tender and breaking down every requirement, redlining an agreement against your standard positions, comparing competing supplier bids and recommending one, drafting responses grounded in how you have answered before. Real work, owned end to end, inside a bounded and reviewable process with a human on the output. Our customers are industrial: oil and gas, pharma, chemical, water, precision manufacturing. The work we take on decides whether a pump manufacturer wins a tender, or loses three weeks of engineering time finding out they never should have bid. Tender cycles that ran 12 to 24 weeks run 3 to 4 with Ranger in place. We operate across North America, the GCC, and EMEA, backed by top tier venture investors. The RoleEnterprise customers rarely arrive with one use case. They arrive with several, spread across functions that each own a piece of the process. Someone has to design a single solution across them, specify it so engineering can build it, and stay accountable for whether it produced the outcome the customer paid for. That is this role. The account executive owns the deal and the commercial relationship. The forward deployed engineers build. You own the design layer between them.A good specification here accounts for how industrial organizations actually operate, and for where this customer is heading in two years. You lead technical discovery, write the spec engineers build against, and carry the technical relationship inside the account from POC scoping through delivery.Where you sitYou design the solution. Our forward deployed engineers build it. Our technical account managers train and onboard the customer onto it. You lead across all three and you are accountable for the outcome. You execute the first. How this role is measuredPOC conversion. Did the POCs you specced convert.Solution outcomes. Did what we built produce the result the customer bought it for, measured after go-live rather than at signature.Delivery. Did the technical deliverables land on time and to spec. The North America number. Your variable is tied to how the region performs. What You Will Do• Lead technical and POC discovery once the AE has identified the use cases in play• Design one solution across those use cases: how they connect, where they hand off, what changes for the customer’s people on Monday• Own the specification the FDE team builds from: workflow, data requirements, integration approach, success criteria, acceptance criteria• Produce the scoping document for every engagement: effort, dependencies, risks, milestones• Build the technical champion inside the account and arm them to defend the work internally• Project manage technical deliverables through delivery, holding timeline and surfacing constraints early• Own the connective tissue across use cases after go-live, alongside the TAM who owns day-to-day account health• Map requirements to product capability: what is reusable, what is custom, what should become product• Establish the spec frameworks and solution patterns that make the next engagement fasterWhat We Are Looking ForEnterprise solution work at an industrial software vendor. Industrial AI, industrial data platforms, asset and operations software, engineering or manufacturing platforms, industrial CPQ. If you have designed and delivered complex solutions into real industrial environments, we should talk.• Enterprise deployments you personally owned, from technical discovery through specification into delivery and adoption, with named stakeholders and named outcomes• Solution design over implementation. You look at an operational problem, design what should exist, and judge whether what gets built will produce the outcome• Documentation an engineer can execute against. Your specs and scoping docs are clear enough to build from directly• Industrial domain empathy. Direct experience in industrial, energy, oil and gas, petrochemical, or precision manufacturing• Comfort with a product that is still forming. You have designed on a platform changing underneath you and used that as an advantage• Structure imposed on ambiguity. You have walked into unclear customer situations and given them shape• AI fluency in your daily workflow. You use tools like Claude or Cursor to scale your own throughput• Strong alongside sellers. You understand deal progression and move deals forward with an AENice To Have• Direct experience with industrial tendering, RFP, RFQ, or bid workflows• Background in product management, or a structured product feedback loop inside a prior solutions role• Experience at a company early enough that you built the process yourselfWhy RangerYou own the orchestration. Customers come to us one use case at a time. Turning those into a single operating layer across their business is where this company is going, and you design how the pieces work as one.You are the input to the roadmap. What you see across every major account becomes what we build.Real scope from month one. You define how Ranger designs and delivers solutions in North America, on live enterprise accounts, and the person who does that well ends up owning the function.Direct line to the founders. Daily work with the CEO, the NA GTM lead, the Head of Product, and the FDE team.Compensation that reflects the role. Competitive base commensurate with experience, plus a variable tied to the North America team number, with accelerators above target. When Ranger North America wins, you win.✉️ To applyEmail kyle.jordan@rangerrfx.com with the name of one enterprise deployment you have personally taken from technical discovery through specification into delivery, and one sentence on what you would do differently now.
