Solutions Architect / Pre-sales (Remote — Vietnam-based only)

Key ResponsibilitiesPartner with Sales to understand clients’ business goals, challenges, and technical requirements.Lead technical discovery sessions and design scalable, practical solution architectures.Develop technical proposals, statements of work (SOWs), scope and effort estimates, and delivery approaches.Deliver technical presentations, facilitate workshops, demonstrate solutions, and lead proof-of-concept (PoC) activities.Collaborate with Engineering, Delivery, QA, DevOps, and Project Management teams to develop competitive, achievable solutions.Review and validate solution designs, estimates, and technical proposals.Prepare clear, comprehensive technical responses to RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs.Identify technical risks, document assumptions, and recommend mitigation plans during the pre-sales phase.Ensure a smooth technical handover from pre-sales to delivery.Mentor Solution Architects and Technical Leads in solution design and estimation.Stay current with developments in cloud computing, AI, software architecture, and modern development practices.Required Qualifications4+ years of experience in software engineering, solution architecture, or technical leadership, including at least 2 years of hands-on pre-sales experience in an IT outsourcing environment.Experience working with international clients, particularly in the US, Europe, and Australia.A proven track record in end-to-end solution architecture, technical estimation, proposal development, and presenting and defending technical recommendations to clients.A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.A solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), software architecture, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), microservices, APIs, DevOps, CI/CD, and modern web and mobile technologies.The ability to define solution scope, estimate effort, and balance technical requirements with business priorities.Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.Experience facilitating technical workshops and mentoring technical teams.English proficiency equivalent to IELTS 6.5 or higher.Currently based in Vietnam.Preferred QualificationsKnowledge of AI/ML, data engineering, or cloud-native solutions.Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.Familiarity with estimation methods such as Story Points, Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), and Function Points.Relevant certifications, such as AWS, Azure, TOGAF, Scrum, or PMP.What We OfferCompetitive salary of up to USD 2,500 per month.A remote work arrangement with flexibility and comfort.Opportunities to strengthen your English through regular interaction with native speakers.Benefits including social insurance, private health insurance, quarterly team bonding activities, summer trips, and company trips.A professional, multicultural work environment with opportunities to collaborate with international clients and colleagues.
