Solutions Consultant – Enterprise AI

Help large enterprises understand how AI can solve complex finance and audit problems.About Controvia AIControvia AI is an early-stage enterprise software startup helping large organisations automatically audit 100% of employee expense claims using AI.Our customers have complex systems, policies and workflows. Successfully deploying Controvia requires understanding both the customer’s business problem and how our technology can solve it.We’re looking for a Solutions Consultant who can bridge those two worlds.The RoleYou’ll work with prospective and existing enterprise customers to understand their requirements and help design how Controvia can address them.You’ll sit between Sales, Product, Engineering and the customer.One day you may participate in a discovery workshop with a finance team. Another day you might analyse a customer’s expense process, help prepare a product demonstration or work with engineering to determine how Controvia should integrate with an existing system.You don’t need to be a software engineer, but you should enjoy understanding technology.ResponsibilitiesCustomer Discovery·      Participate in conversations with enterprise customers.·      Understand current expense, finance and audit processes.·      Identify pain points and automation opportunities.·      Ask structured questions to uncover business and technical requirements.Solution Design·      Translate customer problems into potential Controvia solutions.·      Help map customer workflows to product capabilities.·      Work with Product and Engineering on technical requirements.·      Support discussions around data and integrations.Demonstrations & Pilots·      Help prepare customer-specific product demonstrations.·      Support pilots and proof-of-concept projects.·      Analyse customer data and requirements.·      Help communicate product capabilities clearly to business stakeholders.Customer & Product Feedback·      Gather structured feedback from customers.·      Identify recurring requirements.·      Share market insights with Product and Engineering.·      Help improve our solution-design and implementation processes.What We’re Looking ForEssential·      2–5 years of professional experience.·      Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.·      Excellent communication.·      Comfortable speaking with business stakeholders.·      Ability to understand technology without needing to be a software developer.·      Ability to translate between business and technical teams.·      Curious and comfortable learning quickly.Relevant BackgroundsWe’re open to candidates from:·      Technology consulting.·      Business Analysis.·      Solutions Consulting.·      Pre-sales.·      SaaS implementation.·      Product.·      Enterprise software.·      Engineering with strong customer-facing skills.Highly Desirable·      Experience working with enterprise customers.·      Understanding of APIs, integrations or data systems.·      Experience with ERP, finance, audit or expense-management software.·      Familiarity with AI/ML products.Success in This RoleYou will:·      Become highly knowledgeable about Controvia’s product.·      Run increasingly independent customer discovery sessions.·      Design solutions for complex enterprise requirements.·      Improve the quality of demonstrations and pilots.·      Become a trusted bridge between customers and our technical team.Why Join Us?Solutions Consulting at an early-stage AI company provides unusually broad exposure.You’ll work with customers, Sales, Product and Engineering and see how enterprise AI moves from an interesting technology into something that creates measurable business value.As Controvia scales, this role can develop toward Solutions Architecture, Product Management, Enterprise Sales or Solutions Consulting leadership.
