Solver Developer - Series B Physics AI startup
Saragossa · San Francisco Bay Area
قدّم وتابع مع أبلاي إيدجIf you’ve spent your career building computational physics solvers, rather than simply using them, this could be worth a conversation and a perfect next step in your career. We’re partnered with a well funded Series B Physics AI startup building high fidelity simulation technology for complex industrial engineering problems. We’re looking for Staff and Senior Staff Solver Developers across both fluids and non fluids. You’ll be a perfect fit here if you’ve actually built solvers from scratch and worked on the numerics, architecture, algorithms, performance, and core software behind them. On the fluids side, you’ll probably be a strong fit if your background is in CFD solver development and you’ve worked deeply with Finite Volume Method (FVM), on complex unstructured grids. Compressible or incompressible flow, turbulence, implicit methods, and strong numerical methods experience are all highly relevant. On the non fluids side, I’d love to speak with people who’ve built solvers around Finite Element Method (FEM), particularly in structural mechanics or computational electromagnetics. If you’ve owned core numerical work rather than just running commercial tools, that’s the kind of background we’re after. The company is based in the Bay Area, but remote can work if you’re able to visit the office a few times each quarter.Important note: Due to the nature of their customer base and projects, candidates must be US citizens or lawful permanent residents. Sponsorship isn’t available for these roles. If this sounds close to what you’ve been working on, I’d love to chat.No up-to-date resume required.
