Apply & track with Apply EdgeWe are looking for an experienced and highly professional Sonographer to join a leading healthcare / diagnostic facility in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations while delivering an excellent standard of patient care.Candidate RequirementsBachelor’s Degree, Diploma or recognised qualification in Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Medical Imaging, Radiography or a related discipline.Postgraduate qualification in Diagnostic Ultrasound where required.Must hold a valid DHA licence or DHA Eligibility Letter as a Sonographer, or be eligible to obtain one.Minimum 2–3 years of relevant post-qualification sonography experience.Previous experience within a hospital, diagnostic imaging centre, private clinic or specialist healthcare facility.Strong practical experience performing a range of ultrasound examinations.Excellent knowledge of ultrasound equipment, imaging protocols and diagnostic procedures.Strong understanding of patient safety, infection control and clinical governance standards.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to explain procedures clearly and provide reassurance to patients.High attention to detail with the ability to produce consistently high-quality diagnostic images.Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with radiologists, physicians and the wider clinical team.Preferred Clinical ExperienceExperience across some or all of the following areas would be highly desirable:Abdominal ultrasoundPelvic ultrasoundRenal and urinary tract ultrasoundThyroid ultrasoundBreast ultrasoundMusculoskeletal ultrasoundVascular / Doppler ultrasoundSmall parts ultrasoundObstetric and gynaecological ultrasoundGeneral diagnostic ultrasoundKey ResponsibilitiesPerform diagnostic ultrasound examinations in accordance with clinical protocols.Obtain high-quality diagnostic images for review and interpretation.Review patient history and clinical information before examinations.Prepare patients and explain procedures prior to imaging.Identify abnormalities and ensure appropriate images and measurements are recorded.Work closely with Radiologists and referring Physicians.Maintain accurate patient documentation and imaging records.Ensure ultrasound equipment is used safely and maintained appropriately.Follow DHA, facility and international healthcare standards.Maintain patient confidentiality at all times.Deliver a professional, compassionate and patient-focused service.Salary budget: 10,000 - 15,000 AED per month + medical + visa + bonus Please send CV's to David@therigrecruitment.com
