قدّم وتابع مع أبلاي إيدجREPORTS TO VP – Global Sourcing EXPERIENCE 2–6 Years The Opportunity: Why 1BUY.AI? We are not just building another procurement tool. We are building the Cognitive Engine for global manufacturing. In a world of fragmented data and brittle supply chains, 1BUY.AI leverages multi-agent AI to automate the discovery, risk assessment, and procurement of electronic components at a global scale. We are backed by a founding team that has built, scaled, and exited some of India's most iconic B2B and SaaS unicorns — and by marquee investors including 100Unicorns (lead), Ashish Kacholia, Gruhas (Nikhil Kamath & Abhijeet Pai), and US based FJ Labs, who backed our ₹32.5 Cr ($3.9M) seed round. As an Associate Manager / Manager — Sourcing & Purchasing, you will sit at the heart of the platform — driving end-to end sourcing and vendor relationships that power our AI-native procurement engine, and directly shaping the cost, quality, and delivery reliability of every component we ship to our OEM and Tier-1 clients.Role OverviewWe are looking for a Sourcing & Purchasing professional to support electronic component procurement for our OEM and Tier 1 client accounts. The role involves end-to-end sourcing — from RFQ to PO closure to shipment to clients — working closely with authorised distributors, independent stockists, and traders across global markets. If you thrive on ownership, enjoy working across the sourcing and supply chain stack — from costing and negotiation through PO management, logistics, and inventory — and want to help build the procurement backbone for a category-defining AI platform on a unicorn trajectory, this is your opportunity.Key Responsibilities 1. Sourcing & Costing Source electronic components (semiconductors, passives, connectors, electromechanical parts, etc.) from authorised, independent, and trader channels. Run quote comparisons, cost analysis, and price benchmarking across multiple suppliers. Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and MOQs to secure the best commercial outcomes. 2. Supplier Management Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers (authorised distributors, independent distributors, traders). Maintain and strengthen relationships with the existing supplier base. Track supplier performance on price, quality, and delivery reliability. 3. RFQ & Sales Coordination Coordinate with the internal sales/BD team to close open RFQs within TAT. Provide timely costing and lead-time feedback to enable quote submissions to OEM clients. 4. Planning & PO Management Manage demand forecasting, order scheduling, and PO processing. Track order status and ensure on-time placement and confirmation with suppliers. Maintain accurate records of open POs, pending confirmations, and delivery schedules. 5. Shipment & Logistics Coordination Coordinate shipment handling, tracking, and documentation with suppliers/freight forwarders. Ensure compliance checks (labeling, marking, packaging) are completed before dispatch to avoid delivery delays or quality escalations. Liaise with logistics partners to resolve shipment discrepancies or delays. 6. Inventory Management Monitor stock levels, aging inventory, and excess/obsolete stock. Support liquidation planning for excess inventory in coordination with sales. Maintain accurate inventory trackers and reconcile with supplier/warehouse data. 7. Reporting & Documentation Maintain sourcing trackers, savings reports, and supplier scorecards. Required Skills & Experience Experience: 2–6 years of experience in electronic component sourcing/procurement (B2B). Component Knowledge: Strong understanding of component categories — semiconductors, passives, connectors, electromechanical, etc. Costing & Bid Evaluation: Hands-on experience with quote comparison, bid evaluation, and cost/price analysis. Distributor Ecosystem: Familiarity with authorised, independent, and trader/broker markets. Sourcing Platforms: Working knowledge of sourcing platforms and databases (e.g., DigiKey, Mouser, Octopart) for cross referencing part numbers, pricing, and packaging data. Excel Proficiency: Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables; formula-driven trackers). Negotiation: Good negotiation and vendor management skills. Analytical Ability: Strong analytical and numerical ability for bid/valuation comparison. Communication: Excellent communication and coordination skills to work cross-functionally with sales, quality, and logistics teams. Good to Have: Exposure to ERP/procurement systems; understanding of import/export documentation and INCOTERMS; and prior experience working with EMS or independent distributors. Why Join 1BUY.AI?Wealth Creation Receive valuable stock options in a high-growth startup, offering life-changing financial upside.Fast-Track Growth Fewer than 60 people on the team — growth measured in quarters, not years.Shape a Global Sourcing Engine Get hands-on with the sourcing backbone of an AI-native platform reshaping how global electronics procurement works.Learn from the Best Work directly with founders who've built and scaled unicorns before — Visham Sikand (Goals101) and Nitin Jain (OfBusiness).Ownership & Impact Not a support function — own supplier relationships and PO cycles end-to-end, with direct, visible impact on client accounts.
