This position is responsible for identifying and evaluating suppliers, obtaining quotes, and negotiating pricing and terms to ensure cost-effective and compliant procurement of pharmaceutical products. The associate will process purchase orders, maintain accurate procurement records, track deliveries, and coordinate with internal teams such as operations, finance, and quality to resolve supply issues. Daily responsibilities include monitoring inventory levels, supporting vendor performance reviews, ensuring adherence to regulatory and company standards, and contributing to continuous improvement of sourcing processes. The role involves regular communication with domestic and international suppliers, as well as participation in internal meetings to align procurement activities with business needs.QualificationsStrong skills in supplier sourcing, vendor evaluation, and negotiation, with the ability to secure competitive terms while maintaining quality standards.Developing database and better relationships with vendors through networking and managing the existing onesExperience in purchase order management, inventory tracking, and basic data analysis to support accurate and timely procurement decisions.Knowledge of pharmaceutical supply chain practices, quality and compliance considerations, and familiarity with regulatory requirements in the pharma sector.Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and external partners, along with good documentation and organizational abilities.Proficiency in MS Excel and other procurement or ERP tools; comfort with handling quantitative data and maintaining well-structured records.Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Pharmacy, or a related field; prior experience in pharma sourcing or procurement is an advantage.Ability to work on-site in Borivali, manage multiple priorities, and maintain accuracy and integrity in a fast-paced environment.
