Hiring: Head – Sourcing & Procurement📍 Location: Bangalore, Karnataka💼 Experience: 12–15 years overall | 8+ years in Oil & Gas required📅 Working Days: 6 days a week🎓 Education: Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical EngineeringAbout the RoleWe are looking for an experienced Head – Sourcing & Procurement with strong experience in strategic sourcing, supplier development, new part development, and procurement operations within the Oil & Gas / Manufacturing industry.Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyze procurement costs and develop cost-reduction strategies.Drive purchasing decisions based on cost, market trends, quality, and delivery requirements.Negotiate contracts with key suppliers, including pricing and terms of supply, service, and quality.Develop and manage strategic supplier relationships.Identify and develop new suppliers and sourcing opportunities.Manage global sourcing with focus on cost, quality, and on-time delivery.Coordinate with cross-functional teams for new part development and sourcing strategies.Assess sourcing and supplier risks and implement risk mitigation strategies.Evaluate sourcing procedures and recommend process improvements to senior management.Develop knowledge of key material markets, suppliers, and cost structures.Lead supplier quality management and audit activities.Apply project management concepts to sourcing planning and execution.Key Skills & Competencies8+ years of Oil & Gas industry experience – MandatoryStrong knowledge of manufacturing processes, preferably Oil & Gas.Strategic sourcing and procurement.New Part Development and Supplier Development.Supplier Quality Management and supplier audits.Knowledge of ISO 9001 / Quality Management Systems.Cost analysis and cost reduction.Contract negotiation and supplier management.Strategic thinking and problem-solving.Leadership and team management.Analytical and data-driven decision making.Strong communication and presentation skills.LanguagesStrong verbal and written communication in English.Working knowledge of Kannada required.Hindi is an added advantage.Eligibility12–15 years of overall experience in Sourcing, Procurement, or New Part Development.Minimum 8 years of relevant Oil & Gas industry experience is mandatory.Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.Candidates based in Bangalore are preferred.Candidates outside Bangalore must be willing to relocate to Bangalore.Comfortable working 6 days a week.
