Sourcing Assistant Manager (Melaka)

Support and manage sourcing activities for assigned commodities and categories Develop and execute sourcing strategies to ensure cost efficiency, quality, and supply continuity Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers in line with business and project requirements Lead RFQ processes, cost analysis, and price benchmarking to achieve competitive advantage Conduct supplier negotiations, including pricing, terms, and contract agreements Manage supplier performance, delivery, and quality to meet operational expectations Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, operations, planning) to support NPI and production needs Drive cost reduction initiatives and continuous improvement programs Ensure compliance with procurement policies and maintain proper documentation Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field 5–8 years of experience in OEM sourcing, commodity/category management, or strategic procurement Proven track record in supplier management, cost negotiation, and contract management Experience working within electronics, semiconductor, or manufacturing environment is preferred Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills Good stakeholder management and communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems Benefits Competitive salary package Performance-based bonus Contractual Bonus Medical and insurance coverage Additional benefits will be shared during the interview
