We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Sourcing Intern. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in strategic sourcing, supplier management, market research, and procurement operations while supporting the day-to-day purchasing activities of the business.As a Sourcing Intern, you will work closely with experienced procurement professionals, assisting in identifying suppliers, evaluating quotations, analyzing costs, and contributing to sourcing initiatives that support operational and business objectives. This role is ideal for students or recent graduates who are eager to develop their commercial awareness, negotiation skills, and understanding of procurement best practices.RESPONSIBILITYMaintain complete updated purchasing records/data and pricing in the system.Execution and monitoring of all regular purchasing duties.Coordinate with user departments and suppliers in the purchasing scope of work for projects assigned.Assist in managing and following up local/Overseas orders.Handling and monitoring of claims to factories and vendors for defectives, shortage, missing parts. Support relevant departments with quotations for the purpose of tenders.Coordinate with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery.Responsible for the preparation and process purchase orders and documents in accordance with company policies and procedures.Negotiate for best purchasing package (in terms of quality, price, term, delivery and service) with suppliers and sub-contractors assigned.Purchase and issue order in accordance to specification.Plan and manage inventory levels of materials or products.Source for new parts, suppliers or sub-contractors when the need arises.Monitor and co-ordinate deliveries of items with local/overseas suppliersACCOUNTABILITYSource, select and negotiate for the best purchase package in terms of quality, price, terms, deliveries and services with suppliers.Monitor and co-ordinate deliveries of items between suppliers to ensure that all items are delivered to site/store on time.Vendor registration and modifying the bank data of vendor for ME entities.EDUCATIONNecessary: University graduateREQUIRED EXPERIENCEFamiliar with standard concepts, practices and procedures within a particular field.Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goalsGeneral Computer literacyLINGUISTIC KNOWLEDGELanguage 1: English RequiredLanguage 2: Arabic and French are plus
