This role will work closely with suppliers and include tender processes.This is an excellent opportunity to excel your procurement career with future progression available.Role & Responsibilities:Develop and execute strategic sourcing initiatives to optimise supplier performance, reduce costs, and ensure continuity of supply.Identify, evaluate, and negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure favorable pricing, quality, and service agreements.Build and maintain strong supplier relationships while monitoring performance through key metrics and regular business reviews.Run fair and clear tender processesCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including Procurement, Operations, Finance, and Engineering, to align sourcing strategies with business objectives.Analyze market trends, supplier capabilities, and risk factors to support informed sourcing decisions and mitigate supply chain disruptions.Lead cost-saving and process improvement projects by leveraging spend analysis, supplier consolidation, and competitive bidding processes.Essential Skills & Experience:3+ years’ experience in sourcing or procurement positionsExperience managing tender processesExperience managing high value tenders over £300,000 in valueConfident making decisionsCommercial acumen with the ability to balance value, risk and business requirements.Team playerPackage:Up to £66,000 basic salaryHybrid workingGreat pension scheme28 days annual leave + Bank holidaysCycle to work schemeGreat travel benefitsSourcing Manager / Milton Keynes / Hybrid / Up to £66,000 Basic Salary
