Our growing assortment includes decorative lamps, pendants and carefully curated home décor products, developed through our manufacturing capabilities and network of specialist suppliers in India and overseas.Role: Manager – Product Sourcing & MerchandisingThis is a full-time, on-site role based in Noida and Greater Noida. The Product Sourcing & Merchandising Manager will help shape FIG Living’s product assortment and build a dependable supplier network across India and international markets.The role combines product curation, vendor development, commercial negotiation and procurement planning. The ideal candidate should have strong commercial judgment, an eye for design-led consumer products and the ability to translate category plans and demand forecasts into commercially viable buying decisions.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop category-wise sourcing and merchandising plans aligned with FIG Living’s design language, target customer and growth strategy.Identify product opportunities, assortment gaps, emerging trends and relevant price points across lighting, décor and home furnishings.Source finished products, components, materials and manufacturing partners from India and overseas.Identify, evaluate and onboard suppliers based on product capability, quality, cost, capacity, lead time and compliance standards.Work with vendors and internal design teams on product development, sampling, costing and commercialisation.Compare vendor quotations and calculate complete landed costs, including packaging, freight, duties and other procurement expenses.Negotiate pricing, MOQs, payment terms, lead times, exclusivity and other favourable buying terms.Translate sales forecasts and historical demand into purchase quantities and replenishment recommendations.Manage procurement cycles from sampling and purchase-order placement through production, inspection and delivery.Monitor supplier performance across quality, cost, lead time, delivery reliability and responsiveness.Coordinate factory visits, pre-production approvals, quality inspections and corrective actions.Maintain accurate supplier, costing, sampling and purchase-order databases.Ensure suppliers comply with applicable product-safety, labour, environmental and ethical-sourcing requirements.Coordinate with design, production, quality, finance, logistics and sales teams to support timely product launches and replenishment.Qualifications and ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Merchandising, Design Management or a related discipline.Approximately 4–8 years of experience in sourcing, buying, merchandising or product development.Prior experience in home décor, decorative lighting, furniture, furnishings, lifestyle products or design-led consumer goods is strongly preferred.Strong product-curation ability and sensitivity to design, materials, finishes, colours and pricing.Experience identifying and developing Indian and/or international suppliers.Strong commercial negotiation and vendor-management skills.Working knowledge of costing, MOQs, lead times, inventory planning and landed-cost calculations.Ability to interpret sales data and convert forecasts into buying and replenishment plans.Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets; familiarity with ERP, procurement or inventory-management software is beneficial.Strong communication, coordination and follow-through.Willingness to travel frequently to factories, supplier markets and trade fairs.Detail-oriented, deadline-driven and committed to responsible sourcing practices.Ideal CandidateYou combine the eye of a merchandiser with the commercial discipline of a sourcing professional.
