Apply & track with Apply EdgeSourcing Manager – Data Centres | London£60,000–£70,000 + Car Allowance + Bonus + BenefitsLondon – 3 days per weekI’m currently supporting my client with the appointment of a Sourcing Manager to join their growing Data Centre procurement function.This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious procurement professional to move into the rapidly growing Data Centre sector, working within a strong, well-established procurement function where procurement has genuine visibility and influence across the business.The role offers excellent scope for quick career progression, with the opportunity to take on greater responsibility as the Data Centre business continues to expand. As part of a large global organisation, there are also genuine longer-term international career and relocation opportunities for individuals who perform and want to develop their career overseas.You’ll gain exposure to major client accounts, senior stakeholders and complex, high-value sourcing activity, while working alongside experienced procurement professionals in an environment that will significantly strengthen your commercial and strategic sourcing experience.The role will include:• Leading end-to-end strategic sourcing and competitive tender processes• Developing and executing sourcing plans across Hard FM, Engineering and technical services• Managing RFPs, bid analysis, supplier negotiations and contract management• Delivering measurable savings and wider commercial value• Managing strategic supplier relationships and driving supplier performance• Identifying and mitigating commercial and supply chain risks• Presenting procurement recommendations and performance updates to senior client stakeholders• Working closely with Engineering, Operations, Finance and wider Procurement teamsWhat we’re looking for:• Strong strategic sourcing and procurement experience• Experience within Data Centres, Hard FM, Engineering or technical services• Strong commercial, contractual and negotiation skills• Experience managing complex suppliers and high-value contracts• Excellent stakeholder management and client-facing capability• Ambitious, driven and keen to progress• MCIPS or working towards MCIPS would be advantageousFor someone looking to accelerate their procurement career, gain experience in one of the fastest-growing areas of the market and potentially pursue international opportunities in the future, this is an excellent platform.Interested?
