This part-time remote role is ideal for a commercially minded professional who can identify reliable suppliers, optimize sourcing strategies, manage supplier relationships, and deliver value through competitive pricing, quality, and supply continuity.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute sourcing strategies aligned with business and procurement objectives.Identify, evaluate, and qualify potential suppliers across relevant markets.Conduct supplier research, market analysis, benchmarking, and cost comparisons.Lead supplier negotiations covering pricing, terms, quality, delivery, and service levels.Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic and preferred suppliers.Manage sourcing projects from requirements gathering through supplier selection and onboarding.Prepare and evaluate RFQs, RFPs, quotations, bids, and commercial proposals.Monitor supplier performance, costs, lead times, quality, and contractual compliance.Identify cost-saving, value-engineering, and process-improvement opportunities.Collaborate with finance, operations, product, logistics, and other stakeholders to align sourcing decisions.Maintain accurate supplier records, sourcing documentation, contracts, and performance data.Assess supply risks and support contingency planning to strengthen supply continuity.Requirements3+ years of professional experience in sourcing, procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or a related field preferred.Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Supply Chain Management, Business, Procurement, Engineering, or a related discipline preferred.Strong understanding of strategic sourcing, supplier management, procurement processes, and commercial negotiations.Excellent negotiation, communication, analytical, and relationship-management skills.Ability to evaluate supplier capabilities, pricing structures, quality, and commercial terms.Experience with ERP, procurement, supplier management, CRM, or related business systems.Strong Excel and data-analysis skills with attention to detail.Ability to manage multiple sourcing projects, priorities, and deadlines independently.Strong commercial awareness and practical problem-solving abilities.Ability to collaborate effectively with international suppliers and remote teams.Professional procurement certifications are not required unless specifically relevant to the role.What We OfferFlexible part-time work with a fully remote arrangement.Competitive compensation aligned with experience and responsibilities.Opportunities to work with international suppliers and diverse sourcing markets.Exposure to strategic procurement, supplier development, cost optimization, and supply-chain initiatives.A collaborative environment focused on efficiency, transparency, and continuous improvement.Professional development opportunities and meaningful involvement in strategic sourcing projects.
