Role & responsibilities You will play a key role in delivering the SOX programme across the organisation, partnering with stakeholders across Finance, Risk, Treasury, Operations and Front Office teams.Key responsibilities include:Managing SOX risk assessments, control testing and compliance activitiesReviewing control frameworks, RCMs and process documentationAssessing control deficiencies and supporting remediation plansLiaising with external auditors and senior stakeholdersSupporting annual SOX scoping and testing programmesDriving control enhancements, automation and process improvementsManaging and developing junior team membersWhat's requiredACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalentStrong SOX, Internal Controls or Audit experienceFinancial Services experience is essentialBackground within banking, capital markets, brokerage, asset management or a regulated financial institutionStrong stakeholder management and communication skillsBig 4 experience advantageousWhat is on offerHigh profile role within a growing financial services businessThe chance to help shape and develop an evolving SOX functionReal opportunity to influence processes, controls and the wider governance frameworkExposure to strategic projects, business transformation and acquisitionsLeadership responsibility with scope to develop and mentor team membersHybrid workingCompetitive salary, bonus and benefits
